Competition 2016

The NASA Engineering Challenges is broken up into four challenges:

Multimedia Deliverable Challenge
High Altitude Balloon Experiment
Robotic Vehicle Challenge
Hydro Powered Rocket Launch

Important documents and information related to each challenge will be available for download on this page once they are distributed to all three Community Colleges: North Florida Community College, Florida Keys Community College, and Hillsborough Community College.
The final competition will take place at the Kennedy Space Center from June 7 – June 9, 2016.

1. 2016 NASA EC Schedule (Updated 01-19-2016) – This is the schedule for the entire program. Please note, the schedule is subject to change depending on any unforeseen events. We will announce any needed changes made to the schedule.
2.2016 NASA EC Scoring Criteria – This is a very important document that describes all the scoring criteria for each challenge and the entire competition. If you want to win, you will read this document!
3. 2016 NASA EC Weather Balloon Intro Package – This document describes the High Altitude Balloon Experiment Challenge (AKA – the Weather Balloon Challenge). In the Weather Balloon Challenge, only 3 teams will compete and each team will consist of 10 students from the same College. Great detailed information related to this challenge!
